Tiny URLs provides a URL shortening service accessible directly via a web browser, requiring no user accounts, sign-ups, or downloads. The service operates under a **Dual-Mode System**:
Global Reach (API Shortener)
Links created in this mode are stored on our servers for redirection purposes. While we employ security measures, the user acknowledges that these links are publicly accessible and stored externally.
Absolute Privacy (Local Shortener)
Links created in this mode are generated and stored **entirely within the user’s local browser storage**. We never receive, store, or process the original URL on our servers. The availability of these links is dependent solely on the user’s device and browser settings.
3. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Tiny URLs service to shorten or redirect to any content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, or promotes illegal activities (e.g., malware, viruses, phishing, fraud).
- Contains or promotes sexually explicit material, hate speech, or violence.
- Infringes upon the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of any third party.
- Engages in spamming, mass distribution of unsolicited commercial email (UCE), or excessive, repetitive use that overburdens the service infrastructure.
**Consequence of Misuse:** Tiny URLs reserves the right to delete, disable, or redirect any link created using the **Global Reach (API) Mode** that violates these terms without notice. We cannot moderate links created using the **Absolute Privacy (Local) Mode** as they are not stored on our servers.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties (The “As Is” Basis)
The Tiny URLs service is provided on an **”as is”** and **”as available”** basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the service, the accuracy of its features (such as click statistics), or the security of the **Global Reach (API) Mode** links.
The user assumes all risk and responsibility for the use of the service.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Tiny URLs be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the Tiny URLs service, even if Tiny URLs has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
